at Merlin Cinema Thurso
For Adults and Seniors, standard film tickets will be just £6, discounted to £5 for Movie Magic Cardholders.
For Children, standard film tickets will be just £5, discounted to £4 for Movie Magic Cardholders.
These prices will be available from Thursday 1st August until Thursday 31st October 2024.

FAQ
Will all films now be at the new prices?
All standard films and will be included, but there may be exceptions for special events (these will be highlighted). Event Cinema prices also vary.
Will Advance Screenings be at the new prices?
Yes, Advance Screenings are not considered "special events". An example of "special event" might be a one-off screening or a private screening and will be indicated as such.
Will Event Cinema be at the new prices?
No, Event Cinema and special screenings are not included in this new pricing. Ticket prices vary for Event Cinema.
Does this price include booking fees?
No, booking fees are not included.
Are you not doing the special kid's screenings now?
We've changed the name and how it works, but The Mini Movie Deal will continue to be available as often as we can squeeze them in. For £3.99 you get a ticket, popcorn and drink, but you can still opt for the £2.50 ticket-only option.
Can I use these prices in conjunction with Meerkat Movies or another promotional code I have?
Yes, those offers are not affected, you'll just pay less for any tickets you are paying for.
Can I book in advance?
Yes, as soon as tickets are on sale then you can book at the new prices which apply from 1st August until 30th November 2024.
Are you changing the Movie Magic Card?
During this period, the Moivie Magic Card will cost £7.50 which is half the price of the existing Adult Movie Magic Card. This price will apply if you renew an existing card during this time as well. You still get a free ticket.
This new price will be available from Tuesday 30th July.
How does this effect my existsing Movie Magic discount card?
Any existing Movie Magic cardholders will start benefitting from even lower prices. Your exclusive discount on film is £1 off the standard ticket price 7 days a week with the exception of Magic Mondays where you will pay less again. Ticket prices on Mondays for cardholders during this time will be: Adults £4.25, Seniors £3.75, Children £3.25.
And when you renew it will be at the cheaper price and you still get a free ticket when you do that. You will also benefit from exclusive discounts on Event Cinema tickets, prices vary, and 10% discount off all food and drink.
What about Magic Monday?
Magic Monday 2 for 1 offer is suspended during August - November but we have ensured you'll still pay even less on Mondays. Ticket prices on Mondays for cardholders during this time will be: Adults £4.25, Seniors £3.75, Children £3.25.
I'm bringing a friend and they don't have a Movie Magic Card so can I buy our tickets together and get a discount for them aswell?
Discount is applied per cardholder, not per booking. Your friend would need their own Movie Magic Card.
Is there a new Movie Meal Deal price as well?
The Movie Meal Deal is not affected and remains at £17.95.
Which cinemas will this offer available at?
This is available exclusively at your Merlin Cinema in Thurso, Caithness from Thursday 1st August - Saturday 30th November 2024..
